Why an ENT surgeon for rhinoplasty
The structures that give the nose its outline are the same structures that carry the airway. Lowering the dorsum affects the upper lateral cartilages; rotating the tip changes the nasal valve angle. This is why planning starts with endoscopic assessment rather than with photographs alone.
In practice it means one operation can address both the shape and an existing septal deviation or turbinate enlargement. Two operations and two recoveries are not required.
